Woodzy – Award winning 26 year old flo poet, former Brit school student and Winner of UK unsigned spoken Word category 2019. From being on BBC1xtra and channel aka to moving more into the spoken word scene and reaching just under a million views on his 90s baby poem. Woodzy is looking to captivate audiences with his wordplay and relatable poems.
He currently has a poem in the Tower of London, which is accessible on the tour. His album “Happy Place” was released on October 12th 2019 and is available on all digital platforms!
Woodzy featured all over the L.A scene in February 2020 trying to help bridge the gap between the U.K and the U.S scene. He is currently working towards a new project titled “Peace Out, Peace In” which is set for release by the end of 2020. Until then he will continue working with The Floacist from Floetry as one of the Flo Poets on upcoming projects.
Carlos Mauricio Rojas is a poet and performer. They are a recipient of The Invisible Presence Programme for British and LatinX poets. Their work speaks to the tensions between British and Colombian identity, archiving queer existence and counteracts the erasure of direct actions from dissident activist groups.
TstarNay is an emerging songwriter/ spoken word artist, rapper and trumpeter from London, best known for her social conciseness and articulate flow. London based secondary school Economics and French teacher by day and musician by night. Fusing hip-hop grime and spoken word, TstarNay keeps listeners hooked with social critique and word play.
Hayden Brenen is a 24 year old Singer/Songwriter from South London. Having worked with Thrive on a podcast series and performing and speaking at WMHD last year, it is with great pleasure he’s returning to perform again in 2020. Mental health plays an important role in his songwriting process and is a helpful tool to express emotion.
Yossi is an award-winning spoken word artist, Actor and Practitioner of Performance Education. He trained at RADA and has performed in the West End. Yossi’s unique style of poetry has led him to perform at the Tate Modern and he has worked in partnership with many organisations such as MTV. Yossi takes pride in his work with young people and he has facilitated poetry workshops in many educational settings.
