Thrive LDN had the pleasure of joining leaders from across the Thrive Network at the Cities Thrive Conference in New York last month.
Thrive LDN Co-Chair and founder of Black Thrive, Dr Jacqui Dyer and Thrive LDN Director, Dan Barrett, represented Thrive LDN at the conference which was hosted by City of New York First Lady, Chirlane McCray. The conference had a delegation from across the USA and internationally, to discuss innovations and best practice across the broad range of Thrive initiatives which are taking place worldwide.

Cities Thrive has become a coalition of more than 250 mayors, county officials, tribal leaders and allies who are pioneering innovative ways to address behavioural health challenges across the USA. Members of the coalition gather every year to share best practices for creating change at the local level and to develop strategies for making mental health and substance misuse a top policy priority for the federal government.

Dan and Kate from Thrive LDN also attended the inaugural Thrive Edinburgh Conference, to promote their work around suicide prevention across London, including the Zero Suicide London campaign, which aims to get 100,000 Londoners to take vital suicide awareness training.
