London’s biggest Black LGBTQ+ extravaganza, Too Black Too Queer, returned for 2019. 

Brixton ReelUrban WorldThe Batty Mama and Thrive LDN came together for a one night extravaganza celebrating Black LGBTQ+ experience and wellbeing. the event included screenings of new films, DJs and a live show including performer Paigey Cakey, poet Tanaka Fuego and singer-songwriter Sherika Sherard.


Too Black Too Queer is part of a series of events organised by Brixton Reel and Thrive LDN that focus on promoting good mental health and wellbeing amongst marginalised and intersectional communities across London.

Urban World is the UK’s most diverse LGBT+ club night featuring 20 DJs and MCs playing the best in RnB, Hip Hop, Afrobeat, Bashment, House, Bollywood, World and Desi beats and spread across all four floors of this landmark venue till 6am.
