Creativity and Wellbeing Week 2021

Thrive LDN's activities for Creativity and Wellbeing Week, 17-23 May 2021

Thrive LDN's activities for Creativity and Wellbeing Week, 17-23 May 2021

Creativity and Wellbeing Week (CAWW) is an annual event hosted by London Arts in Health, Culture, Health & Wellbeing Alliance and Arts & Health South West. Taking place this year between 17 – 23 May, the theme for the week is ‘care’.

There is a wide recognition of the value of participation in arts and culture in supporting wellbeing. Thrive LDN intend to plan activities that also raise awareness of the challenges and barriers Londoners face in participating in arts and cultural activities.

Hear from young creatives

The past year has been a challenge for all Londoners. For young creative professionals, who have found their industry largely shut down, there have been additional challenges of both finding new income, and finding other ways to say creative.

For Creativity and Wellbeing Week, we are sharing some interviews with young creative professionals and workshop participants about their experiences of the past year, during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Any flowers and greenery you can find- the more varied and random the better- brambles, grasses, tall stuff, twigs, even dead stuff- it will all work!
