Inside Job Productions and Thrive LDN aim to create opportunities and resources for good mental health and wellbeing, therefore we welcome applications from those with lived experience and/or those who have accessed mental health support and services before.

Who we are:

Inside Job Productions (IJP) is an award-winning film and digital production company and social enterprise, established in 2006. We create high-quality, thought-provoking content for clients across the third, public and private sectors and reinvest our profits into projects that provide vocational training and employment to people who are marginalised in society often due to their mental health.

Thrive LDN is a citywide public mental health partnership to ensure all Londoners have an equal opportunity for good mental health and wellbeing. We are a coalition of partners working towards the shared mission of ensuring everyone living or working in London is treated fairly and can live a happy and healthy life.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in:

• January – February: A 4-week (2 days per week) training course in film production where you will learn how to shoot and edit content using professional kit as well as how to create content for TikTok / social media. You will also learn about pre-production including how to respond to briefs and tailor content for the end audience.

• Filming, directing, and editing exciting and compelling content.

• Contributing to the development of social media mental health campaigns.

• Being a part of the growth of Thrive LDN’s TikTok channel.

• Working closely with and learning from experienced media and marketing professionals.

• Developing new skills in video interviewing.

Receiving support to help you grow both personally and professionally.

Who should apply:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about film and media production. We want you to be creative, enthusiastic, and keen to learn more about the world of digital and video communications and the use of social media to make a change in the world. You’ll be passionate about good mental health and committed to creating content that promotes wellbeing, self-care, awareness and helps reduce stigma. You will also be a creative thinker who has unique ideas for video content that will help raise awareness about mental health and wellbeing issues.

We’d like you to be comfortable in front of and behind the camera. You’ll have an interest in emerging trends in social media content and experience of creating and editing content natively in TikTok, Instagram and YouTube shorts, even if it’s just on your own account.

In addition to producing incredible content that effectively promotes the importance of good mental health, you’ll gain valuable insights into the realms of film production and social media. You’ll learn about the diverse range of roles available and the different paths you can take to pursue them, which will be beneficial for your future career considerations.
