Around 11 people a week take their own life in London. If someone was in crisis, would you know what to say?
In this short training course, you’ll learn how to approach conversations around mental health and suicide and access further support and resources should you need to. Participants will receive a certificate on completion of the training.
Resilience and conflict resolution training workshops

Access a series of free online workshops designed to meet the expressed challenges faced by anyone who is in a professional role supporting others.
The workshops cover topics such understanding stress and resilience, developing personal awareness, developing our coping strategies. Alongside building communication skills crucial for de-escalating conflicts and investigating personal coping strategies for managing one’s response to conflict.
The sessions are facilitated by Healthy Dialogues, with support and funding from the Mayor of London. The three workshops run for around 45 minutes.
Trauma-informed practice training

Thrive LDN has partnered with Nicola Lester Psychological Trauma Consultancy to offer free, online trauma-informed practice training to support individuals and organisations.
The training is designed for anyone in a role supporting others, whether formal or informal. However, participating in the training supports an understanding of how trauma influences and shapes the lives of those it touches regardless of previous knowledge or role.
To complete all the available training takes close to 5 hours in total. This is split across four levels: introduction and bronze level, silver level, and gold level. Participants can receive a certificate on completion of the training at each level.
Mental Health Awareness Training for community champions

Thrive LDN has been working with Healthy Dialogues to offer three pre-recorded training sessions about mental health and the impact of financial hardships.
The training is aimed for London’s key workers and community champions. Across the training, you will learn skills to engage people in conversations in mental health and wellbeing and what to do when someone is experiencing a mental health or emotional wellbeing crisis.
These three pre-recorded training videos follow a total of 30 online, live training workshops which were held in early 2023. Each module will take no longer than 60-minutes in total. Participants can receive a certificate on completion of all modules.
