Further resources and training offers

Here we outline available a selection of further resources and training offers for anyone who is in a professional role supporting those who are displaced or affected by wider crisis situations.

The first in the series of three online recorded training workshops is comprised of an introduction followed by training on how trauma informed care changes, alters and transforms the way someone thinks and feels; how they engage with and experience the world around them.

At the silver level, we move beyond developing an awareness of the impact of trauma to thinking about how we ‘practice’ a trauma informed approach. This is broken down into two key areas; therapeutic skills for reconnection and creativity in trauma informed practice.

At the gold level, the focus shifts from individual practice to think about organisational practice. When we consider ‘trauma’, both in terms of its cause and effect, discussions of power should never be far behind.
